Had the suite with a king bed, living room, balcony and hot tub! Was super great, spacious and cozy! Certain things needed updated or need small repairs. Other than that, great stay!

Definitely worth it

It was great I wish I would of booked my entire stay here. The pool was nice and warm which I liked since I had my grandson. It’s not as big as it looks In the picture but it was so nice. The other hotel we were at the pool was cold which I didn’t like at all. The view was beautiful and the breakfast was amazing. The only downfall is they only have one elevator that’s slow but besides that I will definitely be booking my stays there anytime I go back to pigeon forge Tennessee.

Do better!

The room reeked of wet dog. No fan in the bathroom so it got ungodly hot. Some of the outlets didn’t work. Noticeable dirt and possible mold in different areas on the room. The hot tub is so small that you basically sit on top of strangers. The pool area in general is not very clean

Perfect hotel but strong odor to the room

The La Quinta in Pigeon Forge was in a great location. It was close to all of the activities we wanted to do and in walking distance of several restaurants and a community gym (my hubby is a fitness fanatic). The staff were always super nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean. My only complaint was the odor of the room we stayed in. I am a veterinarian and honestly have a terrible sense of smell. As soon as we entered the room (205), a very strong odor was noticed. My husband and son even commented so I knew it wasn’t just me. It was a strong smell, like a wet dog with very yeasty skin. We actually bought some Febreeze to use in the room, but it didn’t touch the smell. I know the hotel is pet-friendly which I love, and this never deterred me before when booking a reservation. I would have requested a different room, but the receptionist stated that the hotel was full for the weekend to another guest. Maybe other rooms were okay, and I have stayed at many other pet-friendly hotels that did not have an odor. However, we are going back in the fall so I will probably choose a different place to stay. Otherwise, the location was great, the room was clean, staff were great, and the continental breakfast was good.

The hotel was very nice with friendly staff and i love that the pool is open 24/7. The only negative was there is only 1 elevator which made for long wait times getting on the elevator.

Breakfast was good. Mints were great, dog biscuits were a nice touch Room was a bit disappointing. 1) Sheets did not fit the bed. So as you slept, they were continuously coming off. 2) There were no extra rolls of toilet paper. There was only the roll on the dispenser, which was not a full roll. 3) Fan in bathroom didn't work. 4) Dusty- bathroom vanity, along with bedroom furniture had dust on them. Safety: 1) Exit door from side of building did not latch. It continually stayed open and accessible to anyone. To lock it, one needed to physically pull it shut. Which guests don't do. I brought this to the attention of the desk clerk. She told me the door was broken, as well as the card reader and had been for years and that it never locked. My son and I explained to her that it did lock, but was not closing on its own. She again told us that the door was broken and she was aware. We finally walked her down to the door and had her stand outside. We pulled the door closed, it locked and she was not able to enter. I gave her my room card and the card reader worked fine and unlocked the door. She was literally dumbfounded and stated that in the years that she worked there she never knew it worked. She claimed she had been told it was broken. To which I asked, why it would take years to fix a door reader. And then I emphasized that it was a safety concern that the door was not latching to lock and we had found it open late at night multiple times.

We were in town for family fun. The hotel was in a great location off the main strip. The pool area was nice and the outdoor seating for breakfast was nice. Would recommend for anyone wanting to experience pigeon forge.

I absolutely loved La Quinta in Pigeon Forge. It was very quiet, location was amazing and they allow pets which is great when traveling with our pup. Beds were comfortable. I do wish they had the large refillable shampoo and conditioners since they only have the travel size minis. With four people, two kids with thick, long hair, one small bottle is not enough. We didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. And the breakfast was great. Highly recommend and I’ll be staying here every time we come back to Pigeon Forge!
