No care from the staff

We’ve stayed here a couple times in the past, probably around 5 to 6 or maybe even more. It’s never been as bad as it was this time. The room was clean like always and you can’t beat the location. The front desk service has gone down hill each stay and this time it was the worst we’ve experienced. The front desk attendant didn’t care about us being there or anyone else, she just wanted to leave her earbuds in and not be distracted from whatever she had going on. We got there on Sunday and Monday morning we were woke up at 7:30am to loud music and pounding on the floor, they started a new roof project on the hotel. That is fine to upgrade and repair things but we didn’t receive any warning from the hotel about this. Then we go out to our car and they a dumpster wedged between the sidewalk and the car with nails and shingles all over. The door was blocked to get out of our so we had to force our way out. The whole experience was terrible due to the lack of warning or care from the staff of our issues. During checkout there was 3 other couples leaving early to go elsewhere due to the same reasons we were having.

Good stay for the money, bring your own pillows.

Great stay for the money, although on hotel.com it says breakfast included, but once you book you will get an email from the hotel saying that they do not offer breakfast. Kind of felt like that was a bait and switch. The bed is not that comfortable, we had a king bed with 4 very small pillows. Other than that, the room was clean, the hotel is a very short walk to the downtown area.

The room was spotless, and the location was conveniently close to everything. Check-in was smooth, and the staff member who assisted us was very friendly, though I didn’t catch his name. We stayed for just one night, and overall, it was a good experience. However, during check-out, the staff member on duty seemed preoccupied, possibly with her phone, and her customer service wasn’t as friendly. Aside from that, everything else was great.

This property has all the potential, but failed in cleanliness. Stayed here one night between Christmas and New Years for a quick getaway. The room had been renovated, but the aesthetic just didn't match the location or lobby. Pros: Lobby was clean and very inviting Staff was super friendly / even allowed me to park there a few hours before check in You can't beat the location in downtown Gburg Very quiet and safe Public firepit area Private balconies with nice chairs Large shower Cons: Requested new bedding after finding a reddish/brown stain on the sheets and piece at the bottom of the bed. King bed initially had two very unkept pillows thrown on the bed. Headboard was absolutely disgusting/peeling. AC/Heat unit was extremely loud and sounded like it was about to give out. It also had a build up of black dust on the vents. The light switches in the bathroom were exposed and did not have a plate on them. The lower power outlet by the sink had been melted and was black/burnt. The walls had stains on them by the toilet paper holder and by the main entry door. I really wanted to like this property based on the staff and location, but for $175/nightly on a weeknight I found the cleanliness and upkeep to be unacceptable. The cons were all easy fixes. I cannot recommend staying here until those are fixed or the price reflects as such.

Location is very convenient. Can walk to just about anywhere in Gatlinburg. A few small problems with the room. Safety catch on the door was missing and the tub faucet leaked. Completed self checkout and indicated I would be leaving at 11:00am. Left to do some shopping, when I got back a little after 10:00am, house keeping was in my room, had torn everything apart getting the room ready for the next guess I suppose. I had the do not disturb sign on the door and that was ignored. She spoke zero English, I showed her my room keys, she just shrugged her shoulders. I was planning on relaxing for a few minutes before I got on the road. Not the end of the world but fairly annoying. Overall I probably would stay here again.
