Loved our stay there but was a bit disappointed that the creek view was at the same time the view of a parking lot, cars taking up the space in nature right on the creek shore. Walkable to a fabulous local brunch place with yummy waffles and healthy food options. We also walked to the Stampede by Dolly Parton but I doubt many people would choose to walk so far - our family loved it though.

A dump
This sums it up...it was a dump...clean but still a dump. They literally tossed paint on the outside to cute it up but they literally just painted over a a 5 story building with broken elevators that years ago should have been torn down. The bathroom was so small you couldn't even turn around in it. The beds were horribly uncomfortable. The door jam on the inside at some point had been kicked in and never repaired but just half assed kind of repaired. So to close the door you literally had to slam it. The 2nd room we had was unsafe security wise and you could see through the doors as they didn't close properly. This isn't a get even review as the staff was pleasant and as I said clean, but a clean dump is still a dump. Breakfast was the worst we've ever encountered in 50 years of travel, no room to sit for the amount of people they were serving. But the food was truly awful. They took pretty pictures but beware...check the abandoned building across the street.

Sisters trip
The room was great. We had the two king room and the bed was very comfortable. Soap, shampoo, and conditioner where in pumps in the shower. Our rooms were across the river from the breakfast area, so we drove over. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very nice and affordable. I love the separate walls between the king sized beds. The breakfast buffet was good. I just wish other meat options were available because my family does not eat pork. I would give this property a 10/10, but I will rate it an 8/10 because I had a 3 night stay but housekeeping did not tidy up my room. Only the trash was taken out.

The outside picture of the facilities was not where we actually stayed. We had to drive about a half of a mile away from the front office. The room was represented well. The building we stayed in was not as updated and nice looking.

It was a short stay on a trip through. We had our nieces so it met our needs having the 2 king beds in separate sections. On the river so nice views and ducks to feed.
