We loved it :)

The room was neat and clean, the balcony with view of the river was amazing and perfect to relax on. The pool and patio area was clean as well. And it was a great location to walk into town.

Really nice place, on the road so bring earplugs, or something. You could leave the balcony door open and hear the river though, was just to cold when we went. Easy to walk everywhere. Perfect getaway.

Online it said they had rollaway beds for a surcharge but they don’t. The road in front of the hotel was super noisy with big trucks. No towel racks to put wet towels on. Noisy old air conditioner unit.

The views were amazing. The location was at the far end of the strip, so it would be a long walk to most attractions. The breakfast area was above 80 degrees every morning; it was very uncomfortable. Spills in the super busy elevator were rarely cleaned. Most of the staff was polite.

Beautiful view of the Smokies from every single balcony of the hotel and the soothing sound of the river beneath was lovely and very relaxing... We kept the balcony door open as much as we could. Breakfast is ok but needs more choices becuase with a 5 night stay it becomes boring. Great location, walking distance to many places. Housekeeping does a great job daily. We will return to this hotel soon!

my room smelt like marijuana, and the smell traveled from the vent of the bathroom from another room. I called the front desk multiple times reporting this issue on different days. The front desk man reported he would come check it out and report it to the manager, and he never came to check things out, and I addressed this at check out and was told to expect a call from the manager, 2 days later and nothing. I am aware people will smoke marijuana on vacation and that is fine, do it in the smoking rooms, but I requested non smoking therefore I would like to not have that ventilated into my room. I should not have to come back after a day full of activities and have to open all the doors at night to air out my room in order to sleep after a long day. The beds per others in my party stated they were uncomfortable, and it was noted that beneath the mattress were two pieces of wood on top of a metal frame. So, this caused discomfort to 2/3 people in this vacation party. Great view, but far from the downtown area, it is a small walk to a trolley stop; which during off season does not go everywhere one may want to go in town.

Loved that the location is right off the river, right between the main strip of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Easy access to both towns. Enjoyed the 24-hour pool, so that no matter what time we arrived back at the hotel, we could still visit, relax, and unwind at the end of the night.

The Baymont Gatlinburg was an excellent hotel experience. The staff was professional and friendly. The breakfast was great. Trolly stops right outside the hotel which was great as it 9 degrees with 6 inches of snow. Only problem was a water main break down the Parkway which was completely out of their control. We had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was delicious. The only thing I would comment is they could really use a hot tub by their pool it would bring in more couples.
