I read all the fine print before booking this stay. It said nothing of a $75 deposit. I get there, they won’t let me check in w/o paying the $75, so I ask for my money back, they tell me to contact Expedia, Expedia says they can’t do anything until they can get a hold of hotel. I had to have a friend drive from an hour away to lend me the $75 for deposit, it takes forever to get checked in, went to take a shower, and there were no towels or wash clothes, so I had to go back down to lobby and get some . Very unpleasant experience. I stay one night and leave. 3 days later, deposit still not refunded , and I look at my bank statements, and it is not a pending charge anymore, it is a full-on transaction. So instead of a “hold” they just went ahead and charged me the $75 on top of what I already paid for the room. Staff was unprofessional, and Expedia was absolutely no help in any of this. Deleting this app and never using them again. Lesson learned.
