Great hotel to see all the beauty of Ottawa. It is located on the opposite side of the river in Gatineau. But from the balcony you can see a gorgeous view of Ottawa, the parliament building and other famous places. We arrived even before check-in time and the room was already ready. Large comfortable bed, balcony with a great view, friendly staff, the ability to make coffee at the reception. Great impressions of the hotel

Good enough but wont come back.
Dated hotel. Extremely loud AC unit in the room so i had to turn it off (imaging a loud motorcycle engine starting out of the blue next to your ear), windows don't open for fresh air so it got very stuffy. Bed very soft... too soft. Swimming pool was ok but could be better but getting there is ridiculous, also operated 9am-9pm only, you get kicked out after (other hotels keep those open till at least 10pm). Overpriced breakfast. The only good thing about this hotel was service, price and view.

Staff and services was good. Front desk was very helpful, lady even let me park my truck in her spot. I got a room on 3rd floor. Needs new paint ( entrance door) and washroom ceiling had water damage. Room was small but cozy. Walking distance from downtown

Beautiful view from our room. Quiet and comfortable. If parking is full out front, it can be frustrating to find their further parking lots and walk. Not a long walk, but at the end of a full day I can be furstrating.

Located close to major attractions. Property is old and needs repairs. Our door was tricky to close and cleaning staff did not close it securely on 2 occasions. This left us feeling our belongings were not safe. We emailed the manager with our concerns and the head of cleaning was sent to apologize. The manager did not even acknowledge our email. One of the amenities is a pool but it was down a grungy stairway and the changing areas were in poor condition and not very clean. Overall, the property had the feeling that no one cared too much. The breakfast was an added charge of $14, and for the price did not offer a great selection. Front staff were all great.
