We checked in on Tuesday evening and noticed the water didn’t get hot at the sink. We were tired and hoped it was a fluke and that it would be better in the morning.
Wednesday morning, the first shower was barely warm and the second shower was cold. Notified the front desk.
Wednesday evening had warm water at the sink.
Thursday morning, first shower was almost hot; second shower was warm.
Friday morning both showers were ice cold. Mentioned it to maintenance, who was next door working on that room’s hot water situation as well. Notified front desk again.
Received a call from the general manager on Friday afternoon that the shower valve had exploded and flooded our room. It was noted that a mesh bag of laundry that was on the closet floor was wet but that nothing else seemed to be affected. Manager offered to send our laundry out to be done for us, but as we were checking out the next day and I am very particular about my laundry, I declined. He sad that they would be giving us a new room, and that our parking and two nights of our four night stay would be comped.
When we returned to our room, our clothes were in fact SOAKED. We hung them to dry in the new room but it made no difference, they were that wet. The outside of a small suitcase was damp, but otherwise everything seemed fine.
New room was odd but comfortable. It had clearly been redone recently. Hot showers finally Saturday morning!
Received 2 nights discount but no parking discount.
Not likely to return.
