Menlo Park Hotel had the most comfortable beds of our trip. It was an easy walking distance to city centre but far enough away to be quiet for sleeping. We had to rely on public transportation and there were several buses that passed very close to the by the hotel. Staff were alway friendly and helpful. Definitely, we stay here again.

Lovely hotel in Galway.
Lovely hotel in excellent condition, very well maintained and the staff was absolutely lovely. I had two separate bookings that would have required me to switch rooms for the last night of my stay and the stuff sorted it so I could have the same room for all nights. It is away from the city centre but walking distance to shops. I would definitely recommend the restaurant as well as thre breakfast option.

On our late arrival 7/20/24, Manon was very professional and kind. Other staff at the breakfast were kind. At the hot counter, long wait for the staff to come to serve. On our departure day morning on 7/23/24, at check out, the lady was chatting with her friend over the phone on & on! We were polite and waited for her to the eye contact with us but she pretended not to see us. After a long wait we felt like this is personal so we were wondering “should we interrupt her or wait…?”. My husband decided to leave the key and the room # on the note on the desk. This is not acceptable.

Good but better closer to the heart of Galway
The hotel seems like an airport hotel. Not a place you would like to stay awhile but it’s good for a night. There are no extras like robes, no ledge in the shower for shampoos or conditions. It’s about 2 miles from where the restaurants, pubs and shops are. They are friendly, breakfast was free but there are a lot better, closer options.
