Stayed here for a couple of nights in a double twin room. Would certainly recommend! Though you can tell the building itself is a bit on the older side, the furniture and hotel itself is well kept and updated. Our room was clean and ready for us when we arrived early. Hotel breakfast was good as well! Walking distance of everything in Galway. Would stay here again.

Very happy with the staff and the room. The service in the restaurant bar area was excellent, and the food was great. There is only one charger for your phone in the room and the Internet was a little slow but the bathroom was clean the bed comfortable. Very close the to the train station and waking distance to everything in the center. Can buy wine and Guinness to carry back to your rom right across the street.

The assigned room was literally down a maze of a 4 th floor corridor and up 2 additional flights of stairs. Room was extremely hot and the window only opened approximately 3 inches allowing little to no air circulation. On 2nd night, there was a water break and caused water outage in the entire city block. Clearly not much hotel could do, but this just added to subpar conditions. Sweaty and no ability to shower prior to checking out to face a near 12 hour journey home.

Eyre Square was literally steps from the train/bus station which we were using for transportation in and out of Galway. Close and walkable to the areas we were wanting to explore in Galway. Reception staff were especially helpful in suggesting places to go and how to get there. Restaurant and bar within the hotel and we used them several times. Overall a great choice to stay in Galway.

Tough one to review, as the location is amazing, 2 minute walk at most to train station, easy walk to many eating options and shopping. Plus 10 minute walk to Aran Island Tour Ferry dock. Staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. But we found the room very muggy and warm at night. We were in Galway when it was sunny and warm.

Don't waste your money here

We were given a (there are 4 of these) poky little room behind the bar/restaurant. Absolutely not what I was expecting given the cost of the room per night. These rooms look out into a sort of garbage area and a parking lot for scooters, bikes, etc. But this is also where hotel employees (?), hostel residents come out on their breaks and smoke and speak rather loudly. I also got bitten by bed bugs. We changed our plans and decided to leave a day early. After writing a review on hotels.com, they did give us another room. But it was too late by then.
