rather a surprise, very good breakfast, shopping accros the street a few minutes to the city. Dinner at the hotel pub was poor, waitres had maybe her first day, food was very fast, actually to fast and we assume we got somebody elses order as we ordered chicken burger and not beef, but we where to tired to start a discussion. Would stay again

There was a few things in room looks like they didn't clean properly, sink in bathroom with dentist problem - small part was missing, fun in bathroom full of dust, we stayed 3 adults but mix numbers of mugs, sugar or biscuits spoons etc...thanks

The room was dirty and the shower & sink were not cleaned before I used them. - I wish I had taken pictures. Air conditioning was very noisy so couldn’t sleep with it on . The room was cold in the morning and the heating did not work. The gym is tiny and needs upgrading and expanding. I ordered a beer at the bar and was told they didn’t have a keg available. The breakfast is very crowded and only 2 coffee machine which are painfully slow and constantly need to be fixed by the staff. Please go back to making pots of coffee for your guests.

A little far out
A little far out from the Shop Street/ marina area but the drive isn’t bad. The toilet did not flush, we had to use the bucket from the bathroom waste bin to pour water down the toilet to help it flush. It did have a bathtub/shower combo. Overall decent stay. I think if we ever go back we’ll get a hotel closer to the marina.

The Clayton is a nice property. For visitors to Galway It's a bit out if the way, about a 15 minute drive from Shop street. There's not much to see or do close to the hotel, nor are there very many restaurants close. The hotel has a nice pool & the rooms were clean & modern.
