The hotel chains need to clean up their act.
The hotel business needs to get over covid. After staying in several hotels this year I'm very unsatisfied with the new housekeeping policies of cleaning rooms every 3 days unless requesting or scheduling it more often and having to take dirty towels to the front desk to be exchanged for clean ones.

Booked my room 9 months in advance and when I got there they did not have an ocean view room. Ended up in a smelly handicap room. Door to balcony was stuck shut. Lots of things needed fixing. Staff seemed stressed and didn’t care. Very loud place inside and out. Elevator was snail paced slow and the floor felt like it was deteriorating. Non smoking place but the smell of pot was everywhere. Bed was just a mattress on a wooden platform, no box spring, kept sliding around. Would never stay here again.

There were holes in the sheets in the bed I slept in. The other bed my daughter slept in had a huge hole in the bedspread. The mattresses definitely needed to be replaced. Both sagged in the middle and were not comfortable at all. The faucet in the bathroom would not turn all the way to use hot water. The carpets definitely showed a lot of wear both in the room and the hallway. We did not try the pool or the breakfast so I can't speak to those things. The water pressure in the shower I will say was EXCELLENT!
