We have two service dogs and the front desk wanted to argue about the law and demanded us to pay for one of our dogs saying she is an emotional support dog and we have to pay $100. ruined our weekend. I will be contacting the owner and the state about this!!!

This is a good place for a family to stay that ticks all of the boxes if you just need a clean, friendly, local place to crash while you enjoy Galveston. It is not a posh property, but it is very clean, the beds are comfortable and the AC is super cold.

Questionable cleanliness

The staff was kind and helpful, but the cleanliness of the room was very poor. The toilet clearly had not been cleaned and had a running water problem with every flush. The floor was also dirty. The positive aspect is its proximity to the waterpark.

Went on a cruise so needed a place to spend one night before. I'm picky with hotels and all the horror stories but this place was amazing. Service was amazing. Rooms were amazing as well. Definitely will be coming back.
