Great property for staying prior to cruise and a safe easy to get to (and more important… easy to beat traffic in/out of parking lot) to get on and off the ships! Hotel overall is clean and the small continental breakfast was great.

I’d pick a different place next time

The gentleman that checked us in was so rude and unfriendly. Made us feel like a burden for any time we asked a question and check in was uncomfortable. The room was fine but the AC unit was SO LOUD that nobody was able to sleep.

We frequent Galveston but this was our first stay at Harbor House. David at the front desk was very helpful, our room with a view of the harbor was wonderful. Clean room with microwave and refrigeration. Walking distance to the strand and downtown was great. 10/10 experience. We will visit again. We even got to watch 2 Carnival Cruise ships set sail.
