We stayed in room 215 and our neighbor in room 214 was unable to get back into their room due to a mechanical failure with the electronic lock. It was a sad situation for them, because a hisband, wife, and their two kids were completely locked out of their room from 10 pm until 2am. They contacted the front desk for assistance to get in their room, and were told that they did not have anyone from maintenance available until 7am. Meanwhile this family had all their things locked in this room with two tired children and no way to get in to collect their things or to sleep. Because the facility had no maintenance on location to assist, the husband ended up having to call a locksmith out of his own pokect and hoping to get reimbursed. During this time, there was an incredible amount of noise due to drilling and banging on the door from the locksmith trying to get this family into their room, is sounded as if someone was attempting to break into our room. Needless to say, we got absolutely no sleep at all, and the hotel was unwilling to comp us for our stay. I asked to speak with a manager, and the lady to me that the manager was unavailable, and offered 30 dollors off our 189.00 bill which was an absolute insult.. On another note, the bathroom was filthy and didn't even bother to shower until we got back home... This was our first tine to stay at this place, and absolutely the last... There are much better options elsewhere for the same amount of money

Needs an update
Stayed 2 nights. This hotel need an update, the photos on the site are very deceiving, had a slight view of the ocean, aircon was very noisy and went on and off, room was noisy due to being right next to pool which had something running all night, was squawking all night too from birds/bats, the pool carpet ran along outside the hotel doors and was sopping wet all the way along, so smelt musty as probably never been dry. Got up for breakfast on first day, but didn't have anything was limited says full breakfast but more like continental and to be honest didn't look that great. Was a nice bar/ eatery next door called Nicks. You could still towards the pier abs their was a few eataries along here, brick house very good.

It is affordable but quite dated. The pool chair cushions are moldy and there’s bird poop on everything. You are not allowed to bring any of your own drinks to the pool area. I can understand that they want you to buy from the pool bar. But I ordered a pina colada for $11 that had 0 alcohol just to be compliant. I was told by the bar tender that the manager will come out and take everyone’s drinks away if not purchased at the bar. I will never stay here again

I understand there was a hurricane recently,which accounts for some of the outdoor issues, but that doesn’t make any excuse for the condition of the breakfast area. The sugar and stir stick jars were covered in fly mess?? Things look clean on a general level but when you really look it’s disgusting. The pool ended up being closed for our stay and the bird poop on the pool deck and furniture was horrible. The man at the front desk checking us in looked like he was loosing his mind (angry and vibrating, slamming the mouse on the counter). The room was as cute as the pictures, the bed was comfortable. The fridge and freezer were not clean.

The hotel is very well maintained, the breakfast is excellent, the pool is super clean... My only complaint was that the cleaning staff entered my room before 11, I had not returned my key, and they threw away the food I had in the refrigerator for which I had paid a high price and was planning to enjoy it for my lunch. In the confusion and because I was angry, I left my cell phone cable...When I reported it to the front desk I just got a look that said I don't care.
