Older motel which has been kept up. Beautiful furniture in our room. Nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. TV got lots of channels. Refrigerator was great with a little freezer for our blue ice to refreeze

False Advertising!

I did not enter a room as advertised! False advertising. It was anything but what you see. The so-called "King Size Bed," was very uncomfortable and it was basically a queen size bed over two twin sized box springs.SMH!!!

The owner is very rude. Never saw the inside of the room. I decided at the check in that this was not where I wanted to stay! Outside is a dump!

Old but cheap and comfortable

I think it was built when Calvin Coolage was President. It will do for a night or two. If you're not to particular. But it's about forty years past a facelift. The staff was nice. The water was hot and strong. Best of all the bed was very soft and comfy. Wasn't expecting that. I slept well.

1. Although there was a fridge, its door was ajar, and it wasn't plugged in and thus wasn't cold. This turned out to be because there weren't enough electrical outlets. The TV and cable equipment occupied most of the outlets behind the furniture, and the microwave was plugged into the 1 remaining outlet, leaving no outlet for the fridge. I had to unplug the microwave and put the fridge's plug into that outlet in order to use the fridge, which was the more important appliance. They should set up a 6-outlet device behind the furniture so that all appliances can be plugged in at the same time. 2. Something good, which I had never seen before, is that they have a mostly-transparent security wall (which needs a room card to pass through) in front of the row of rooms, such that it is impossible for an outsider to just walk up to a room and try to get into the door or window. 3. On the bad side, the driving area in front of the rooms is not in good condition; it is uneven and torn up, with gravel or tiny rocks all over it, preventing the drive from the entrance to your room and back out to the street from being a smooth drive. 4. On the good side, the manager/clerk was very nice and helpful.

Cool older route 66 property. Probably was very neat in its day. Pool building permanently closed. Time capsule decor, all clean and neat. Breakfast was a bit slim but for the price on par.

How this place got 7 stars is beyond me. Room smelled and pillows did too! Wallpaper coming off wall an only 2 pieces of tissue in the box! This place needs a major overhaul.
