We enjoyed the hot breakfast. The swimming pool was very nice, the outside sitting area was also nice. Woke up to a person sawing outside our window on our last day. The bar was closed unexpectedly at 5pm when it was to open at that time. Last day there and we just wanted to have a relaxing drink. Person at front desk, female, not helpful in knowing the area. And this is Galena, IL.

The front desk clerk was so nice. She changed our room to a first floor room quickly and with a smile. The breakfast selection was good, but the hot food was not filled before long emptied and the tables were not cleaned.

The first room we were given had very strong smell of cleaning solution mixed with musty smell. My husband has respiratory condition so we asked for different room. We were given room down the hall and worked perfect. No smell. We slept well and the gal at the desk was very accommodating

The stay there was enjoyable. Everyone was very friendly. The rooms were great. Open and spacious, clean too! Having a small continental breakfast every morning was a real treat. Didn't have to go out looking for a breakast bar. Food was there. I just loved our whole trip and stay at the Wyndham Gardens in Galena, Illinois.
