Checkin was quick and easy (I had a pet and there was no way to indicate that when making a reservation). They did have to come up to my room to have me sign more papers once they knew I had a dog. You need a headlamp if you lose anything. The lighting is MINIMAL at best. Perhaps I couldn’t find the right switch but there were no overhead lights. Two lights on either side of the bed and one desk light. At one point I lost my car key and struggled to see the whole room while I searched. The bed was squeaky! It was just me and my dog so it didn’t bother anyone but me but let me say that had I been with my husband, we’d have irritated each other each time we moved! Thin walls! We were here while the courageous and dedicated lineman were helping with the hurricane cleanup and they get up EARLY! There was no sleeping in. These guys were not noisy but you can hear every door opening and closing. We were up at 5:30. Shower was hot. Flores were laminate which felt nice and clean. Bed was comfortable (despite being squeaky!!!) Parking is limited but given the area is not fully developed it easily accommodated my truck and horse trailer. Some soundproofing and a few teaks and this will be a nice hotel.
