As soon as we got in the room my kids found 3 half drank bottles of beer under the bed in the room. There was also a flosser on the floor. Housekeeping obviously missed all these things. The front desk did offer me another room when I mentioned it, but I had already bagged the items up and after a long day in the car my kids were ready to be settled so we did not take them up on the offer.
The Hampton Inn is currently undergoing a remodel. Our bathroom was new and the room was updated. The bed was comfortable. The bad thing about a remodel is some things are not available. The gym was closed during our stay.
The train does pass by but the heat/ac vent blocks out most of it. The breakfast was good. Overall, it is a good place to stay while we visit family in the area.
Friendly Staff,Great Service, Room for Improvement
The front desk and staff were friendly and welcoming. I had an issue with the AC in my room, but thankfully, a helpful member of the housekeeping team on my floor was able to assist and get it working. I later found out that some friends staying in other rooms experienced the same issue but didn’t ask for help, so they ended up being uncomfortably warm.
The room itself felt reasonably clean, though there was an odd smell—something like hair or lotion products from a previous guest—which wasn’t very pleasant. On the positive side, the pool area was very nice and enjoyable. Breakfast was your standard hotel fare, but the food was decent and satisfying.
There’s a railroad and freeway literally running right next to the building. Fortunately the train didn’t have a whole lot of traffic. We only saw four trains all weekend.

After a very long day of moving, her smile and attentiveness was appreciated.

I was extremely angry to find, after we checked in, that the indoor pool was closed for renovations. There was NOTHING on your website to indicate this anemity wiuld not be available. You should have informed your guests in advance regarding the situation and given them the opportunity to cancel.
Also, my room was not cleaned.
