Overall, my experience was great here. The location is walking distance for major shopping zones, public transportation, and local yatai hubs. The staff were super friendly, and helpful. The room amenities were great. I was doing the diamond tour of Japan as a first time visitor. So, I went from Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and finally to Fukuoka. It was only at Tokyu Stay that my room gave me access to a microwave, and laundry machine. This helps alleviate the burden of having to take care of these daily action items while on vacation. With such easy access to such amenities, you get to get back to enjoying your vacation that much faster. Would I recommend this hotel to a friend/family member? Definitely. Thanks so much, Tokyu Stay Staff!

One of the best affordable hotel I’ve been in my trips to Japan. Close to subway stations, in the middle of the busy Fukuoka areas, full of shopping, restaurants, parks and riverside walks. If one day I go back to Fukuoka, this will be a no brainer for me.

Honestly would give it 6 stars if I could. In terms of a budget hotel, this was exactly what we wanted. Spacious rooms, clean, great location near a main subway line, easy access, quick check-in & check-out. As a huge bonus, it also had a washer & drier in the room! This was only an extra ~$40AUD per night than a similar hotel we stayed at in Osaka and the difference in size in particular was huge. Big recommend.

Perfect for a first trip to Fukuoka

Great, convenient location. Hotel is in good condition, clean and comfortable. Bathtub and washer/dryer were huge pluses for a long international trip. Walk to train station was quick and easy. Plenty of quick eats nearby.

Perfect spot for staying in Fukuwoka convenient to food, subway and very walkable. Loved the in room washer/dryer. Room was very spacious. Halls and lobby could use an update and fresh paint. Breakfast was included and was fine, good selection of Japanese, Italian and Western foods and included.

Stayed in Residential Twin room for 3 nights. Dusty Ceiling. Air con smell bad. The hotel provide a washer/dryer but they didn't provide proper equipment to hang washed clothes (Please let us drying clothes eco-friendly!!! By providing a bar or rope inside the bathroom can save a lot in electric bill) I hope the property can be more considerate about the needs and experience of customers. BTW, I had been in Sapporo/Kyoto Tokyu Stay for several times and the Fukuoka Tenjin is the first one that I need to borrow every cooking utensils and dish-detergent from the front desk. Frankly, I was shock and a bit disappointed.
