Moho at reception was fantastic! They also made sure my kids had their own room and was connected to ours. The restaurant is best restaurant so Far in our 2 week trip!!! Amazing food!!!

This gem of a hotel exceeded all expectations. I wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else. Great Gatsby meets Swan Lake vibes. From the reception area to the room, restaurant and Morrocan themed wellness area complete with multiple saunas and relaxation areas…. incredible!

Lovely spot with great staff. Location is excellent. Restaurant wonderful. Air conditioning did not work. Beds very stiff yet pillows overly soft. Yes, this sounds like the princess and the pea reviewing, but temperature and uncomfortable bed combined made for poor sleep.

Huge hotel with a central location and car park
Huge hotel with a central location and car park. The interior designer was too enthusiastic – the hallways and the room were too dark and too busy, overflowing with details, the toilet was situated at the entrance of the room, somehow opposite to the bathroom, which had very little light. The switches had a mind of their own – I could not learn how to make them work, even after two days of exercise. The mattress was very soft and the pillows were of very poor quality. Very good breakfast in a noisy hall but professional service.

The staff was very friendly and kind. I wish they had told us about the Füssen card when we dropped off our luggage so we could have used it to save some money on the buses. We did have to report a briken bottle in the luggage room 2x. For a hotel that size we were happy they offered a free luandry room, but there was only 1 of each machine and it took o er 2 hours for the dryer to dry 1 load. Convenient to the train and bus stations and local restaurants. Use of the bathrobes was nice. Chair in the room was very small and uncomfortable. We would have appreciated directions on using the cooling system. Sink was fancy but very small.

Our family's recent stay at the Sonne Hotel was nothing short of delightful. With teenage boys in tow, finding a hotel that meets everyone's needs can be a challenge, but Sonne Hotel rose to the occasion. The staff was incredibly friendly, always ready with a smile and eager to assist with any request. The proximity to a variety of restaurants meant that even the pickiest eaters were satisfied, and the convenience of having such dining options close by was greatly appreciated. The combination of excellent service, convenient location, and stunning natural beauty made our stay at Sonne Hotel a memorable one. We would highly recommend it to any family, especially those with teenagers looking for a blend of Bavarian taste and relaxation.

The Hotel Sonne was a really nice hotel in a great location. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - especially with respect to recommendations as to the logistics in seeing the two castles in Hohenschwangau. The parking was a little different as I was directed to public parking because my vehicle was too long for their hotel parking. It ended up really not being a hassle having to walk to and from the public parking. The main detractor with this hotel was the fact that the air conditioning didn’t work in the room. I would definitely stay at this hotel again

Hotel Sonne has excellent location. It’s 4 mins walk from the strain station and next to the walkable downtown area. Staff are very friendly. Mahdi was our receptionist when we arrived and he was very helpful and friendly with us throughout our stay. I would definitely come back to this hotel.
