Everything in there was not working toilets was not good lid kept falling my husband was so mad it sink like if somebody smoked in there Everything small its was horrible never go there again I wish I had photos.

It was a good value for the money. Nothing fancy, but nothing fancy needed. Its just a place to sleep. It was clean and had breakfast. The shower head is extremely low, but its a great value.

Owner Henry was very sweet and kind to me, recommended good restaurants and fun spots to go to around the Fresno area. This Mortel had clear swimming pool area and very beautiful garden in back which had delicious mandarins and many other fruits in summer that we can eat. Property is across the street from Forestiere Underground Garden, so very convenient. There was free breakfast with coffee, waffles, sausage, oatmeal, etc., and the pool and hot tub are available to use at the hotel next door which is the same owner. The hotel itself was a dump. It looked abandonned and there were stains all over the carpet and brown and red spatters on the walls. The room smelled musty and like old smoke. There was a TV but the reception was so bad I couldn't even watch it.

Fix That Fan!

Well maintained older property. My negative issue was with an adjoining room's bathroom fan. It was out of whack and very noisy in MY room. I let the management know after my first night when it ran nonstop until 2:00 a.m. They talked to the tenant who fortunately turned it off about 10:30 my second night. But on my third night it ran all night until 7:00 a.m. Bleh! I needed my sleep. But the Formosa Inn has potential, and if the price is right I will return. Friendly staff, somewhat secluded, and plenty of nearby food options.

Gross!

This place should be shut down. Seriously. I travel 100% for work and stay in hotels on a nightly basis. I was trying to save some money and thought Id try this budget motel. I should of just slept in my truck! This place was outdated. Furniture broken. Mold on the exterior right out side my door. No elevators. Bad parking. Horrible bed. Damp carpet. No cable TV. I rather sleep in a jail cell in Tijuana then stay here again. I'm not exaggerating.

Hidden delight

Good budget stay. Very quiet. Waffles for breakfast and oranges from their property were amazing. Pillows weren’t great and they should get rid of their old carpeting. Blackout curtains would also be nice. But overall no issues

Easy freeway access and lots of food options. Costco n Walmart are not far away. Winco n foods co I believe were close as well. Quiet and safe for me traveling solo.
