Arrived at noon and left bags and gave my name . Told to come back after 3 which was expected. We came back around 8pm and were given room keys for a room that already had guest's bags and belongings. The desk agent bizarrely asked " who was in there?". She gave us another room without acknowledging an error or being pleasant...it all seemed to be our fault. This presents a security risk and while I'm sure it's not a frequent occurrence,hotel management may wish to review check in for room 104 on Oct 23. We could have cleaned out those guests belongings if we were different people. We did ask for extra pillows from housekeeping but we're told they had none. Room was clean and bes comfortable but the check in process was something I have never seen on 45 years of travel.

인터시티 호텔 프라이부르그 꽤 좋음
호텔 시설은 훌륭했고 아침식사에는 살짝 매콤한 닭고기 라면이 나옵니다. 해장에도 쓸수 있을 정도입니다. 한국어가 가능한 여직원이 일하는데 완벽하지는 않습니다. 역 옆인데 방음이 잘되어 있어 문제안됩니다.

Great location at rail station with easy walking to Old Town… good connections to local trains also. Was surprisingly quiet! Shops/eating places at train station is great for quick access. Try Dean & Dave’s - great fresh choices! TV channels very limited.

TINY ROOM unfriendly check-out WITH EXTRA CITY TAX
WE Spend 3 nt here in a tiny room (really not room for 2 pax) good was the view to Tram and trains and tiny hills in the background. At check-in we were ask if we want to spend 15 eur person for breakfast ….and we think about it and pay for it tonight together with a CITY TAX … hm this tax was not mention when we book and paid March 10 … Since we have to check-out early, we went to reception evening before to do the payment. The young lady there (with a guy in background) told us we do have to pay more as it was already paid by Expedia. It makes sense to us since Expedia/hotels.com never told us about this extra tax. We had been other places (Garmisch P and Friedrichshafen called it resort tax and paid upfront 24 & 15 EUR hhv 4/3 nights. We were told this extra payment when made the booking!) Next morning with check-out the same young lady from day before and suddenly SHE wants EXTRA city TAX 20.10 eur (30cad) for our 3 nights … there was a guy there too he said the lady is in training so it didn’t count what she had said day before. End of the story we paid under protest ….how could we know that the lady was under training ..even she wearing a small sign in German but never told us. The price is way too much for a tiny room with NO special amenities like kettle/coffee machine. For information we DID not pay any extra tax for a much better hotel/room in city of ULM!
