Great Location and the JU Bar!

I always stay at the Intercity whenever possible. Normally 50 or more room nights a year. Simply put: Value for money. Period. And the best bar on the Frankfurt Airport. Bonus: Harry is back behind the bar at the JU Pub. Put a smile on my face to see him again.

A nice affordable hotel. The staff was really friendly. My favorite part was the pub built in. The bartender was friendly and you can get pizza up until midnight. Perfect if you’re arriving late.

Much Better than expected

The picture of the outside seemed rather dated, but the inside, both lobby and guestrooms had been renovated very nicely. What a pleasant surprise! Clean, modern functional, welcoming. I booked this because of the shuttle to the airport at 6 in the morning. It was punctual and delivered me right on time. I would gladly stay here again for an overnight travel stay.

Disappointing Experience – Unexpected Charges

I was surprised by an unexpected 10-euro charge for the shuttle back to the airport. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels before, and I’ve never experienced something like this. I assumed that a shuttle service would be included or at least provided for free, but apparently, this hotel charges for it.

Very comfortable hotels for those who has layover flights. A shuttle picks you up for free from the airport to the hotel. ( terminal 1, door A 5-6) They have a pub in the hotel with awesome food and beer.

Short throw away from the airport

A 8 minutes shuttle ride away from Frankfurt Airport - shuttle bus is free to ride from the airport to the hotel but chargeable at a steep EUR10 per person from hotel to the airport. Hotel is absolutely not walkable from the airport if you're wondering. Room is clean, has a nice radiator/heater working during the winter. Nice view of the flight landing path and the airport from some rooms. Pillows too soft for my comfort but that's just me. Most annoying part - their shower foam and hand soap bottles are both empty and not filled up. Vending machine at the lobby - exorbitantly priced but great for an urgent fill of the tummy. Other than that, pretty good stay.

Great hotel close to airport

Fantastic new hotel, clean spacious rooms, restaurant was nice with standard German fair. Hotel is dog friendly! We encountered numerous pups on our stay. Paid parking was in a gated lot around the building.
