The property is OK. I'm not sure how it normally operates under normal temperatures, but we were there during an unseasonably cold week (temps below 20) and we lost hot water for a portion of our stay. The duct work is also very loud with a knocking throughout the night, but we noticed that went away as the temperatures warmed up. For cleaning they make the beds each night and change the towels, but that was about it.

Anniversary fun

The room was very nice. When we walked into the hotel it had an odd smell. It smelled old, which the hotel itself is old but revamped. The bar was great and Joe the bartender was terrific. There are no ice machines on the floor. You have to go downstairs to get ice. The service was great. Requested extra towels and a blanket and it arrived within minutes. The bed was comfortable. We did not get to try breakfast but are planning a morning trip to try breakfast.

Not the best conditions. When we got to our room, the TV was stripped of its power cord. We also noticed that the electric thermostat would not go above 62(in winter mind you). When we finally got in touch with the front desk(it rang for about 7mins. before anyone answered), they said they would send a technician right away. We waited 1 hr, no one came. We decided to head to dinner and give them more time to fix the issues. 3 hrs later, no one has been to our room. We call again and are told the same thing. No one comes until the next morning, 6am. I will think twice before i return. Wasn’t the best experience for the money we paid.

Our stay at the hotel was enjoyable overall. However, the elevators were a bit outdated and gave off a creepy vibe. The hotel was fully booked with lots of people due to a cheer competition taking place during our visit, causing delays in the elevator service. Several times we had to take the service elevator. Additionally, we found it inconvenient that the floors did not have ice makers, requiring us to request ice from the front desk.
