This Extended Stay America is NOT like any of the others I have stayed at. There seems to be no regard for rules (guests smoking right outside their door or on the walkways when the signs say smoking must be done at least 100 feet from doors or windows), the smoke detector was not installed and we later found an old detector on a shelf near the kitchenette, the room was NOT what I reserved & the front desk had no intention of making it right until two days later when they moved me to a room with a double that reeked of smoke (I reserved a premier queen with a pull out couch for 3 adults. Got to the room at 2am and there was no couch. We had to sleep sideways on the bed for two nights until moved to a double room), advertisements for kitchen kits is false (they didn't have any "kits" of plates, bowls, silverware, pans etc. The guy at the front desk opened a closet and said, "all I have is a toaster", advertisements (in office, in room and on tv) claim that the hotel has incidentals in case you did not bring them from home (shampoo, toothpaste, lotion etc.). NOPE! They don't have any of that stuff either. Asked for a new box of tissues & were told that they were out and waiting for a shipment. If I was the manager, I would have been more prepared and purchased a box from Costco until they came in. The property also did not have any extra blankets or pillows. Have never had that happen in any hotel I've stayed at. Customer service stinks & hotel desperately needs a remodel!!!
