The views from the hotel was stunning which is most of what you are paying for. The hotel seemed maintained enough and the game room was cool. The food we got was mediocre at best.
Great view. Comfortable room and was large, though not sure all are the same.
Dinner was probably best of the trip, though you need reservations as they only seem to seat a few at a time.
Bar was also nice. Had good weather so the deck was nice too.
Included breakfast, but that didn't start until 8 which was too late for our schedule.
You can walk down to the old ferry landing and also a trail along the water.
The shower did not work. There was very minimal water pressure and the temperature could not be controlled. I contacted the man on staff that day who I think was the manager but was lying saying he wasn’t and he came to the room and could not fix it. He couldn’t get anyone out to fix it and did not offer us a stay in a different room or anything. They gave us 40 pounds off of our dinner but that’s just not good enough for not having a shower to use during our stay. When I approached the man about it he was very rude to my wife and I and just rushed us away. I have tried many times to contact mamagement through email and phone calls and have not heard anything back even though they said someone will get in touch with me. This is Terrible business practice and the facility should probably be shut down until they can provide basic stay needs.

The first hotel I’ve stayed at where the manager actively offered a lesson on whiskies and how to enjoy them

While the staff, service and restaurant were all wonderful, the rooms left a lot to be desired. The carpet in our room was coming up, our bed was slanted and uncomfortable and our toilet ran an exceptionally long time after flushing. We would gladly recommend the bar and restaurant to anyone, but the rooms could use an upgrade for the price paid
This is an older property that is well maintained. Beautiful area. Good restaurant in the hotel . Nice sitting area gave extra space for relaxing. Room was comfortable and a good size. Ample parking. On major route through Glencoe or on to Oban.
Gorgeous setting for a hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel. The manager was very helpful and inviting. He recommended a lovely walk along the loch after dinner which was a great setting for sunset photographs. The bar is well stocked and they offered their own gin which was quite good.

We had an excellent stay. Good food, drinks, and location. Very peaceful and relaxing place to stop. Highly recommend the gin. Staff were extremely kind and accommodating. Beautiful garden as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through.
Nice little hotel by the river at Glencoe. The room in the front was large with lots of light. Clean and comfortable bed. Beautiful sitting in restaurant by the wondow. The hotel has a large deck with beautiful view. The food at the restaurant was excellent.
Great country stay, views from the dining room at sunset are stunning.

This staff have an attitude problem also via Expedia it was agreed that I could pay at the hotel despite the hotel took for money by my credit card.
I complained to Expedia and they told me to speak to Hotel and Hotel said the policy was to take the money upfront so the two don’t tie up!
When I when I was served porridge I realised they didn’t have a spoon so I asked to wait and he told me to go and get it from the counter not what I expect when I’m paying 5 star prices. The taps loose and in the evening for Charles hot water was lukewarm at best
This lodging was absolutely perfect for our visit to the Highlands and Glencoe area. Close proximity to a ton of outdoor attractions. The views from the lodge grounds are breathtaking to say the least. They offer their own gin and rum varieties and served breakfast and dinner. Every sip and bite was first rate. Paul and staff made every effort to ensure that our stay was a visit that we will never forget. The staff, offerings, and location make this a 10/10!!!
