cleanings and sanitation should be priority in every hotel The bathroom was terrible and when you travel with kids and seniors, always safe in all aspects are very important.

I didn't like that the bed sheets were dirty. Had some hair and dead bugs on them. The first sheet that was on them had a huge stain on it and the lady at the check in said she didn't have an extra to replace it. She had other sheets, blankets, pillow case and comforter for us to change it. The toilet was wobbly. Their free continental breakfast was good. I like that their waffle came out in the shape of Texas. I thought that was cool.

I have stayed here several times now. The staff are always friendly and helpful. A for having a wonderful team! I like that there is plenty of parking, it is conveniently located and at night the lighting is great. For a hotel that allows pets, it is also extremely quiet. The rooms are not as clean as I would like (corners, nooks and crannies) but the bedding, showers and toilets are clean so it works perfectly for a short stay.

Do not recommend. There’s no sound proofing in the room, we could hear everything happening outside to include the multiple burns outs an hour. Got a top floor to avoid a loud neighbor, but the adjoining room had such thin walls and no soundproofing on the door that we could hear everything the family next door was saying…might as well of had them in our room. Literally no privacy. Very dated room and furniture. Bathroom had hair all over the floor from previous occupant. Only positive was the bed was comfortable and staff was nice. Will never stay there again. I’m not sure how they have such a positive rating on hotels.com due to the poor quality of the rooms.

Noisy room in Days Inn Fort Stockton Tx
Checked in after requesting ground floor room specifically for my pet to easily go out for exercise and bathroom. Desk attendant had me use hotels.com to get lowest price which she indicated she was not able to change hotels price but hotels.com can give better pricing. They didn’t discount for AARP. Got last first floor room near ice machine and broken security door which was propped open by a rock. Once in the room it was very clean and a nice room. Individuals started using ice machine which was very loud in the room. Notice gap on 3 edges of entry door where light was coming through from light in corridor. Door threshold had a gap of about 1/2 - 3/4 inch under door big enough for rodents or even a snake could get in room. I believe if door weather stripping was properly placed and threshold fixed that the corridor noise into the room would be much reduced. I mentioned this to deck attendants when I check out. They appeared unconcerned.
