December stay

Stopping point on way to AK, USA. Sad night staff. Decent older hotel. WiFi good. TV good. Hot water good. Breakfast good enough. Not great parking with snow. Nothing really after them -in December- for most of the Alaska Highway

great location and the property is just off the highway. The problem I had was I was on the ground floor facing the parking lot. In the morning it was around minus 20 and there were diesel trucks parked outside my window so of course they were running at 6 am and my room was full of diesel exhaust. Not the best way to wake up in the morning nor did I want to wake at 6 am after driving 12 hours the day before. I informed the front desk and had to ask for a comp pet fee. I was disappointed..
