This is the first time I have used a kiosk with a remote front desk clerk to check in and check out. There is also an employee at the front desk but more for information purposes, the front desk employee does not handle money, room keys or registration. The room was comfortable and clean, there is no carpet which is important to me these days. The TV did not work initially and housekeeping came to fix it. The next morning, the TV did not work again and I did exactly what housekeeping did to try to get it working but it still did not show the cable stations. The breakfast is ALL Carbs, which does not work for me.

Never have I ever check in a hotel thru a “machine” there’s no person in front desk , you talk to the agent and and check in thru a machine kinda like an ATM, even the keys are dispensed thru this machine. Very interesting

Booked three nights. Arrived just after midnight to check in. Discovered there is no one at the desk, you check in through a video call. Assigned room 120. I was traveling alone. Room 120 was the last room. It was dark, I was alone, there was construction material everywhere and men talking loudly on the top floor. I felt very unsafe with the location of my room and knowing there wasn’t even an employee on property. 4am I was awoken by very loud music, car horns and reving of engines. I knew I wouldn’t be able to spend another night. Checked out that morning.
