We had a great time this past weekend. The pool dj was entertaining, perfect amount of fun. The waitresses were all sweet and accommodating. Our room was clean and the perfect temp after a hot day of walking outside. I was pleasantly surprised to see how many dogs were around.

Nice, but a little pricey.

The beds were impressively comfortable, the decor was lovely, everything appeared clean and taken care of. The valet guys were professional and quick. We ate dinner at Lah De Dah... server was terrific but the food was just okay. The pool was about one block away... across the street at the beach. The room rate was reasonable for the location, but the resort fees and taxes made it a little pricey.

Very nice resort but I was disappointed in room view of street and construction after paying for deluxe room, family spent less on same exact room for standard rooms Also u cannot bring a cooler to pool and while it makes sense for glass or alcohol, a small cooler for kids juices should be acceptable Drink bottled water only, I was very Ill after drinking from water cooler provided Grounds are pretty, especially the courtyard with fire pits Note the chairs on beach are not included so another fee to use them

Pros and Cons

They give customers zero reason to leave the resort. Several restaurants/bars on site, spa, pool, gym, bikes, activities, etc. Food was decent and easily accessible, but nothing to rave about. My number one complaint is that they DO NOT tell you when you check-in that you'll be charged for the valet parking (no free parking options on site, or easily accessible nearby), and every time you request your vehicle, you'll be charged. Nor do they tell you that there is an automatic 20% gratuity added on to every meal, service, etc. My second complaint, the pool is LOUD, all day long (live DJ). It would be very nice to have a quiet, relaxing pool option, as well as the "party" pool. The resort is certainly large enough to accommodate this. Third (somewhat minor) complaint: called the front desk at least 6 times during our stay to request bottles of water (complimentary), shampoo and conditioner (complimentary), etc. Not one time did anyone ever bring the items we requested. They took the call and said somone would bring the items shortly, but never did anyone show up. I ended up having to go to the front desk to get what we needed.

Our stay at Margaritaville Fort Myers was absolutely excellent! The resort is beautiful, clean, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Everything exceeded our expectations, from the rooms to the food and the relaxing atmosphere. The only thing we thought could make it even better would be a slide or a splash area for the kids. That would be the cherry on top! Still, it was a super stay overall, and we would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

Everything was good. On our second day we had to keep asking for a server at the pool to get our order. Finally after an hrs we had to wait 45 mins to get 3 drinks. But over all resort was great as all the other staff were friendly.

La piscina es pública, entra quien quiera pasar el día y no solamente para los huéspedes del hotel. Se llena tanto que no hay sillas ni donde meterse. Poco agradable e higiénico una piscina tan llena. Cada día por 3 sillas de playa, una sombrilla y una mesa es una renta diaria de 80 dólares, aunque seas huésped y te la quitan a las 5 de la tarde, en pleno verano a esa hora es que empieza la mejor parte de la playa. En verano a esa hora aún quedan más de 3 horas de sol y para algunos es nuestro horario preferido pero sin embargo a esa hora ya te quitan las sillas de playa que habías rentado y no barato. Por lo demás las habitaciones están limpias y el personal es amable.
