Reasonable walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. Good breakfast. Fitness center was small, and pool was under renovation, both were a disappointment. Water pressure in our room was almost non-existent. Utilized the MTM transportation for our travels to and from the port, which was great service.

The Jitel is beautifully done but I never stayed in a hotel with out housekeeping cleaning the room and making the bed and empty garbage , I asked one housekeeper to make bed at least and empty garbage no bed made and I had to empty garbage other than that excellent stay

Clean and modern with a friendly staff
The hotel was clean, modern and suited our needs fine for the night. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and giving directions to get to where we needed to go. Check in was smooth and easy. The rooms are you're standard hotel rooms, clean and tidy. They have a pool table in the lobby, but my daughter's were disappointed you had to be 18 to play. They were able to play Foosball which was nice but the actual swimming pool was closed for maintenance until Dec 2024. Not a big deal for us because we live in Florida but if you're coming from a cooler climate and wanting to use the pool you should call to check first. Overall was a nice hotel and suited us well for one night.

Hotel itself was ok, we were on the 9th floor and woke up countless times throughout the night due to the trains beeping, police sirens (multiple times) and people yelling in the middle of the night. Also not in the best area, we made the mistake to walk to dinner and witnessed some very questionable things along the way. It was fine for one night but likely wouldn't stay here again.

The mismatch between cost (high) and quality (low) is so substantial that it borders on poetic. A sampling of a few things that I did not like: > Paid Parking ($30/day), with a gate that works occasionally (as a result, you're required to go to the front desk and beg to be let in) > The rooms are reminiscent of the accommodations is Saw 3. > The "hotel' is several miles away from anything. You must traverse a wildness of construction sites, homeless encampments and 6 lane roads in order to get to anything Do your best to avoid this. I would have preferred to sleep on the beach (face down in the sand) than to stay here.

We actually did not stay there. We were traveling with a U-Haul trailer attached to our truck & bc this hotel was downtown, they did not have accommodating parking for us. Closest lot would be $90 per day. Also their pool was under construction & not available for use.
