The lobby was under renovation March 19, 2025 and was completely empty other than a small check-in desk and coffee maker. The room was clean and renovated and had 2 beach chairs and an umbrella. The location on Hollywood beach was excellent right on the boardwalk and very close to restaraunts and bars. The intercoastal water taxi dock was a 5 min walk from the hotel.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The shower head was leaking, but front desk said they would rectify the problem. The lobby was under renovation, so there was no bar as advertised. I feel that should have been included in the description on Expedia.

This is a unique historical boutique hotel. It’s in the process of being renovated - that work didn’t disturb our stay. It’s also on a very busy part of the beach which means LOUD most of the day and well into the evening. There’s a bandstand a block or two away with live music until 9:30-10:00 pm most nights The issue is soundproofing - the windows in our room were not sealed properly when replaced and it’s as if they are wide open. You can hear the conversations of people walking by 3 stories above street level. Needless to say the live bands until 10:00 pm are an issue and then there’s heavy equipment that starts cleaning the beach at 5:00 am. We splurged on ocean front. Perhaps units that don’t face the beach would be quieter.

What a Gem!!! Loved this place! Very clean and the staff was awesome. They are remodelling the lobby and I know it’s going to be beautiful when completed. Loved that it was right on the beach. Would definitely return!

The staff was amazing! Anise (not sure of spelling) was so great, she got us checked in early. The place is older but clean, they’re doing some updating! You walk out of lobby and you’re on the beach/boardwalk. Close to airport. Lots of dining and shopping. I would definitely stay here again.
