I’m on the fence about this property.
Pro’s: Close to Pompano Beach (5 min walk), restaurants and pharmacy also very close by. Size of unit was good with two bedrooms and 3 televisions. Unit was relatively clean and somewhat updated. We had no issues with noise while we were there. Communication with property was ok (via text). The pool was nice with a nice waterfall feature (although it was turned off each day before 4pm when the pool is open until 8pm). There is laundry on site for a fee (must purchase a $10 laundry card from a third party and then it’s an extra $2 to wash and $2 to dry). No key cards required as each door has a combination code to open.
Cons: Kind of feels like a motel. Updates to unit feel like they were rushed, dishwasher didn’t work, we found a couple of fairly large bugs in the unit, there was a rat glue trap clearly visible in the ceiling tiles and the unit was fairly humid. There was also clearly a dog in our unit before we arrived as I found clumps of dog hair under the living area coffee table.
It’s not a bad place for your money but nothing special. Also there doesn’t appear to be a front desk on property. I communicated with the buildings management only through text. Check-in starts at 4pm and I was told the “front office” was only open until 5pm, but never located the office during our stay. It’s also in a little bit of a weird area with a few parking lots surrounding the “resort”.
Overall good stay but not great.
