Get What You Pay For

We got the last room in the hotel (we were told) at the very end of the hall. The soundproofing was so bad we could hear the traffic on the road outside all night and also we could hear everyone tromping up and down the staircase located right next to the room.

There was only one person available to check in guests. There was a line of frustrated people waiting. While waiting in line, I found out that there were people stuck in their elevator that they were trying to get out. The elevator was broken during my stay, thank goodness we didn’t have that much luggage to go up and down the stairs with.

Big rooms with a good kitchen, well located. But, the hotel sofa beds are horrible, we had to call for the toilette to be fixed, shower curtains are short so the bathroom get very wet, rooms are dark. Breakfast options poor, no fruit some days, not a variety of gluten free options as stated in the hotel page.

Very nice hotel. Our only issue was the shower water would never warm up...I would have settled for lukewarm but it never even reached lukewarm. A cold shower is a deal breaker and will kill even the best hotel stay.
