the hotel is very dated, rooms weren't bad, the breakfast was awful and very limited at best. The staff wasn't bad but the entire lobby and hallways smelled like marijuana, very disappointed with stay.

I didn’t read the reviews before I booked , I always bring my own cleaning supplies. But this place is just filthy and moldy . My husband can’t stop coughing in here all night. We are suppose to stay longer but can’t not good for our health. And the people who stay here look homeless or just don’t care about life . Someone’s car alarm was going off throughout the night right by our window. They throw trash everywhere ,We don’t smoke and all you smell is weed in our rooms. We had to kill roaches . Definitely don’t want to take any back home . Gut this place and start over

The lobby was under construction which caused everyone to have to utilize the back elevator which was kind of inconvenient because of the wait. A slight mildew smell in the hallway. Didn’t get fresh towels throughout my 5 day stay. I didn’t necessarily need housekeeping but I would have loved for them to at least offer fresh towels and washcloths.

The first elevator near lobby was not working, guest had to walk down hall to the next one. My room was close to the exercise room and midway down the hall on ground floor. It was very noisy. door of the room did not block the sound of guest talking in the hallway.

The room was super clean, neat , and tidy. The swimming pool and the bubble pool were well kept. The breakfast food runs out fast even at 8 a.m. The food quantity does not meet the number of guests. There is no milk for the cereal, no fruits, no jelly for toast. The working staff are very noisy when talking to each other in an unknown language. The gym is limited with no weights.

Stay at La Quinta Hotel under construction, should not be open. Hallways had no floorboards, painting was in progress, rugs were filthy. Odor was ever present during our two day visit. Ice machine on fourth floor was not working, had to walk down to get ice. Fridge was not operational. Had to move heavy tables to plug it in. Main elevator not working. Man told us it had been out for three months. Secondary elevator in the back of the property broke down. My wife who is a stroke survivor was forced to walk up and down four flights of stairs. The breakfast was not good at all. Very little food, coffee ran out on both days and there was not much seating. Air conditioner in the room was extremely loud and woke us up all night. After a full day out visiting Fort Lauderdale, we returned a 9pm to discover our room had not been serviced. When I called the desk, I was told we had to go down to pick up towels and cups. We all expected better from La Quinta and Wyndham.
