Definitely A Must Book

Such an amazing resort. Definitely going back. The staff was incredible. Had the pleasure of working with Daniela who was so helpful with my pre-booking. Even with my flight delays and cancellation on the day of check in. I called and informed them that I had to drive because of last minute cancellation and when I got there 8 hours later than scheduled, the staff greeted me warmly and made sure to do the utmost to make my stay worth the drive. I was presented with a bottle of wine, cookies, and passes for free drink. They called me during my next day to check up on me. This will forever be my vacation resort when I travel to Ft. Lauderdale. My room was spectacular and VERY clean. I was on the 38th floor with a beautiful view of both the city and ocean. The pool on the 6th floor was beautiful and they had games. I was chosen as the guest of the day for Sunday and had a cabana all day. Although my trip started horrible due to Silver Airways and United Airlines, the staff at Hyde Beach House made all that wash away: thanks Daniella and the late night front desk check in staff.

It was disappointing as fees are required to be outlined and when I got there the hotel charged me an additional 140.00 for exit house keeping services that was not included on hotels.com or the welcome Email I received from the hotel.

These are older condos. We rented a partial ocean/poolview. They are not sound proof and sit next to the freeway. Sirens, cars, motorcycles all hours of the night. Glad we locked the cost with Expedia since the condos charge multiple excessive fees. Parking, cleaning, resort and non smoking fee. Our condo room 807 smelled of pot and cigarettes. Although they did offer to move us later after attempting to swiffer and spray air freshner. The bedding, towels, and curtains had nicotine burns. We had already unpacked, ordered grocery and food delivery. Ironically I was still charged the deposit/feesfor no smoking and cleaning. I would not recommend or stay here again.

Suite was clean if you didn't look too closely at stains on furniture. Check in and check out process was efficient and staff was friendly. Definitely a party hotel as all night long we could hear furniture moving and music in the room above us. Was pricey for the value but we just needed something with three bedrooms close to Lauderdale airport.

I’d say over all I would give this stay a 2/5. You can tell the room was only spot cleaned, stains on the throw pillows, stains on the couches & the chairs, odor through our room, hole in the wall behind the door when you walk in and to top it all off the craziest part was the fridge/freezer wasn’t working, I guess there was an ice buildup in the freezer which prevented the air from flowing properly so the maintenance guy came in with a lawn blower and used that loud machine at 9pm for over an hour to “melt the ice” which didn’t work… he ended up pulling the chunk of ice off. 9pm-10:30 ish of loud noise while putting our kids to bed was rough and we were hoping to talk & enjoy time with our friends who had just arrived. Plus the Valet guys are rude, one laughed at my friend saying “ **laughs** looks like you’ll have to pay $40 to get a new ticket since you just arrived” because she misplaced hers when carrying a ton of luggage up. Luckily we found it but it’s the principle, the laughing and tone of voice was very unnecessary.

I was pleased with how there was no real amenities for the price that you have to pay and all the parking headache you have to go through everything was closed and front desk told me everything was gonna be open. I got to do nothing and I want a free cabana and I didn’t even get to use it because they lied about it being available when it was not I asked for them to send me some cleaning supplies to my room all they said with towels there’s no broom in the room to clean up the floor. They do not serve any type of food whatsoever just a snack vending machine and a recommend you to go next-door to the next hotel, which is not even better than a parking. Please do not get me started. You’re paying for parking and they still rush you and take your car when you tell them to wait or are they overcharging you when you just parking for 10 minutes and then you have to use your key card to go everywhere which really is nothing to do. I was not satisfied the elevators are so loud that I hear it in the room.
