I booked the hotel because it was close to the port terminal and because they had a shuttle to pick you up from the airport and take you to the hotel. However, be aware that if you arrive before 2 PM, there is NO shuttle service. I had to take a UBER. Also, upon arrival, although rooms were available, they made us wait in the lobby for several hours unless we paid an extra $50$ USD to get our room. The next day's breakfast had many options, and the service staff was very nice. There are no restaurants around, so I had to order Uber Eats

After such a poor experience at the Plaza hotel, we booked that Avid, and they made up for it big time! The property was clean, the staff was amazing, and the amenities that were available were well executed. I was surely stay here again.
