Lovely Views

Located right along the coast, our room had a beautiful view of the ocean. Biking and walking paths right outside the door. Room was a bit small and cramped because we had a jacuzzi tub. Having the tub (in between sinks and bed) seemed like a great idea but the room is so small, the tub was in the way, there was no privacy and it steamed the room up. Just awkward. Because it’s on the water, it’s pricier for what you get and there is no breakfast.

We were pleasantly surprised with this property! Travelling for 4 weeks and booking all our lodging by looking at pictures and reviews can be nerve racking, but this place was a gem! Having to pick a different hotel the night before due to being in a terrible area, arriving here was a breath of fresh air! Perfect location to the beautiful walking trails behind the lodge meandering through beautiful wild flowers with the ocean crashing in the rocky coast in the background. A short walk to a nice beach and really cool bridge that was an old railroad bridge. Cute town with all the amenities needed. Will definitely keep this place on the list for a future trip!! The lady that checked us in was super sweet (name escapes me, I think Bridget??) and helpful with all the local attractions. Glass Beach is just down the road and is a must see!

Love the location. The room was spacious for the two Queen beds. Bed linens were nice. I think this place can offer a lot more, but was disappointing in terms of value for the money. It was difficult to tell from the pictures and I did not research enough before this last minute booking. Picked it up as it was too rated. The pitch black carpet, beige wallpaper, great tiles made the room dark, although ocean facing. The sink is outside the bathroom. Coffee and coffee maker in the room were not great. The non dairy creamer looked like an old pack with lumpy powder. No breakfast at this expensive place. No common areas to sit with family from other rooms. Balcony can only fit two people and they could have some benches outside at least. Front office staff didn’t seem very friendly. Value for the money was low.
