Room was fine. Pool pump was broken and that wasn't communicated until after check in. We were there for a birthday party and the pool was a large factor in our hotel selection, so that was disappointing.

Very nice gentlemen, checking us in the loudest to have the room and location where we wanted, which I like being accommodating. It did say the room had a microwave which she did not which caused us an issue because we had a water leak at the house and needed to stay there, but we couldn’t eat any food up. That was a little disappointing. Good breakfast. Property is definitely not what it used to be in the hallways, but the rooms are nice. Quiet that weekend and safe with a lot of opportunities around there to shop or get food.

We were able to switch to a first floor room since the elevator was not working due to upgrades/remodeling. Room was spacious. They do allow pets. Staff was great!

New owners/managers are EXTREMELY friendly and courteous. Problem is/was that the motel is newly acquired, changing brands and undergoing major renovations which was not disclosed at the time of reservation. Elevator was out of service, pool area was under construction, rooms had not yet been updated.

Okay place

Older condition. Elevator not working. Had to use stairs. Was not advertised on line that there was an issue. Key door to fitness room did not work. Treadmill did not work. Bed was comfortable. Towels were clean. Air conditioning and heat worked well!

As we enter the building there was bad smell as well as the room. There were bugs near the window. The curtains was ripped. There was a gap on top of the door where you could see in the hallway. So we decided to leave after four hours of stay

The 8.4 customer rating is deceptive & subjective

It was a relatively last minute reservation and I unwisely clicked reserve based on an average 8.4 rating. It is no where near an 8.4 rating. It was old, the overall environment didn’t give off an essence of cleanliness. My daughter and I luckily travel with our own pillows so we could comfortably rest our head on that, be we opted to sleep on top of the covers because we weren’t convinced the bedding was clean (solely based on the overall vibe of the place, not because we spotted anything on the bedding). We didn’t have the breakfast in the morning but it seemed pretty standard. I’ve had way better breakfast options at other hotels with the same price point, but I also don’t choose a place based on the breakfast provided. All this to say, I personally wouldn’t stay at this property again.
