We had excellent service and beautiful view of the lake. The staff were very professional and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Our room was spacious and the balcony offered beautiful views of the lake and surrounding green areas

I never asked if I wanted an upgrade, paid for the buffet, but we were only 15 people so they didn’t have buffet. Everything was closed after 4. Front desk didn’t tell us. Only two nice guys were able to kept the sauna going for us an extra 30 minutes. I ordered two beds since two people were going. I had two beds, but made a fuss for the second person, even when the second person doesn’t pay. I am sure it was a great hotel back on the days… not so much these days. Overall… some people were nice, not the front desk people though.

The place was beautiful and the staff always accommodating, specially the woman at the counter meylin cortez , she made sure we had transportation and set us up with everything we needed.

The location was beautiful, we loved the forest atmosphere and the boat ride. Rooms were nice and the guest service was excellent. The wifi was inconsistent. The food was alright, it could have been a bit better, but overall we had a nice experience.

The room and entire hotel area was very clean and the AC in the rooms worked very well. The staff was very friendly and willing to accommodate any special request. The beach are by the lake was lovely, well maintained and beautiful. Highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Camino Real is an excellent hotel to spend you time in Peten/Tikal an amazing staff makes you feel like a movie star … they are so amazing providing customer service and the food as well unique… great variety of food for breakfast, Lunch/Dinner …Defiantly would be back to stay , just because the staff, GM should be proud of his team.

Reserved a trip to Tikal via messaging and at the property they had no idea. In messages they responded a day later. Ridiculous had to call another taxi for the service. We had to wait two more hours. DO NOT RECOMMEND I wish I could post pictures of the conversation with the hotel .
