This property is charming. Very clean, staff was all fine. I had two complaints, Our bedroom was 15 steps above the living room and bathroom, which was a true inconvenience. And our room was 2 elevators and 8 more steps from the lobby, which I guess comes with such a classic structure

The second time we stayed there during our 14 day Italy trip, we had the suite Flower room. Huge room but probably the worst view of nothing but back alley and garbage. We asked for a junior suite which was the same as our first stay regular room. Fantastic view but room half the size and they charges €60 to change to the small room with great view. Overall good experience but had a few issues that we did not let blemish our second Italy trip in 6 months. Great breakfast as well! Bell staff and front desk very attentive and helpful

I stayed at superior double room, but price I paid........ I stayed whole lot better places. First of all, room was large enough and had nice bed, but it was dusty Also room had no views and was looking at other building right next to it, so I couldn't open the shade, and stayed with what light they had in the room. We (myself and young adult children) chose this hotel because of its location to the train station which was super easy to get to. Our room was overlooking the square which was perfect for us but if you want quiet it might not be ideal for you. Also, there’s a few stairs to get to that area of the hotel which could be difficult for older travelers. We walked to everything from the hotel. The location couldn’t have been better. Would stay here again for sure.

Great hotel in a great location. Very close to train station if arriving by train and parking available for those who come by car. Walking distance to all the sites if Florence. We received good service from all the staff.

Beautiful property and excellent location. Very close to the train station, so no cabs required if this is how you’re arriving/departing. Right in the middle of Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. Restaurants and other main attraction areas are within 5-10 minutes walking. Very clean rooms, helpful staff, and nice bathrooms. Showers are small as they are in all of Italy, but not a problem for us. Would absolutely stay here again.
