10 minute walk from Guidoni Tram stop. Room ok, beds ok. Strange layout in bath with a towel rail within, where the shower head should be. Not many sockets & zero USB charging sockets. The tilet door on 703 is poorly fitted & only closes with persuasion. Hinges need adjustment. Breakfast not wonderful but very good pastries & coffee. Staff all helpful & mostly spoke excellent English.

As per hotel no AC protocol by law, I’m not happy during our stayed.we had lots of mosquitos bites.the hotel looks creepy at night.it looks like a abandon building.

Easy taxi ride to airport at 4:30am
I chose Hotel Mirage because it is close to the Florence airport. What really closed the deal was that it has staff at the desk 24 hours a day. We had a 6:00am flight and needed a reliable taxi service. At 4:30am, sure enough, there was a pleasant gentleman who called us a taxi and within minutes the cab was at the door. There is little traffic at 4:30am so we were at the airport in a few minutes. 18 euros. Fantastic!

Very close to the airport. The restaurant inside the hotel was a wonderful place for dinner. Out Steak, Gnocchi and Bruschetta were great. Would highly recommend staying here.

Read trip advisor reviews for this location and we’re sure we’d have to make another plan. We were pleasantly surprised. Easy walk from tram/bus stop out of Florence. Get directions for walk to the airport. We flew at 6:30 so taxi service was not reliable option. We walked over in 15 min no problem. It was crazy how well lit the streets were! The room was clean bright clean with a big window and small deck. Noisy with the window open but quiet when closed. Yes the walls could stand a coat of paint and the carpet replaced but it’s clean. Water is hot and plentiful. Bathroom spacious. Surrounding neighborhood has a few grocery (google maps listed ones we couldn’t find) and places to eat but they are a good walk away. There is a restaurant in the hotel and a small well stocked bar. Funny couldn’t find snacks or a soda in or near the hotel.

Despite what some people have said about this property its a good place to hang your head till you move on to your next destination or going to your final. Very close to the airport (€16,00) cost. Restaurant was very good. Breakfast buffet standard. I would stay again. Irene excellent front desk

Friendly and accommodating
The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, but there was a terrible smell coming from the bathroom in our room and actually around the hotel. We notified the front desk whom was already aware and receiving complaints, and was trying their best to find the issue. Thought it might be a city issue, but we’re trying to be helpful to remedy the issue. The room was clean, but the beds were not very comfortable. Breakfast was included and had a good variety of delicious choices. Shuttle service from the train station was excellent. It was not available for our airport departure, so they set us up with a taxi which was also good and actually less expensive.
