This property is 5 minute walk from train station. Central Market is around the corner, Duomo is 5 minutes the other direction. Lots of great dining nearby including ZaZa. Property is clean and friendly with breakfast included.

If you’re looking for an economical place to stay that’s in the centre of the action, this is perfect. Rooms are small, but clean, warm and safe. The staff are amazing and will give you great recommendations!

Really centrally located so everything notable was within a 15 minute walking distance. The staff were all really professional and nice. The layout of the hotel is really interesting where it snakes all over the place. Maybe it's a Florence thing but I do like it. The included breakfast funnily enough had the best dessert I've had in Florence. The room was spacious with tall ceilings and came with everything one would need.

I booked a single room and it was just off reception and next to the common area. I could hear the conversations and people walking to and from their rooms which I didn’t like - as there was no carpet it was more like staying in a hospital - I was glad I was on my own as I’m not sure how private it would have been to have conversations in the room. Noise from staff started as early as 430am. The aircon was on a timer so woke to blast of cold air at around 2 or 3 am. I worked out how to turn off. Fan on bathroom on sensor and very noisy and took long time to turn off. Basic breakfast included with lots of pastry options. Reasonable coffee. Great location.

Great hotel. Facility was clean and up to date. Friendly helpful staff. Adequate breakfast. Excellent location within easy walking distance to all tourist sites and the train station. Many restaurant options very close by. The only issue is that there a no elevators so it requires going up and down stares.

Very good hotel in a great location. 5 minute walk to the train station that allowed us to explore other parts of the country. Tram stop to/from airport is also 5 minute walk. Main tourist sites all within 15 minutes walk. Plenty of dining options. Room was very clean and in good condition. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. They do ask that you reserve a time for breakfast (between 07:30 and 10:00) because dining area is small but they didn’t mind taking food to go when we were on a tight schedule which we appreciated. Would certainly stay here again.

Excellent location near the train station. Staff is helpful and breakfast is excellent. However, our room was in a very noisy location. We could hear noise from the street all night as well as all conversations at the front desk. Ask for a quiet room when choosing this hotel.

Horrible! Do not go there! Because if you stay there once, your standards will rise and you will have hard time comparing other hotels to this one which exceeded all standards. Do not get fooled by its 3-star status, as the rooms, deco and services would definitely compete with at least a 4-star counterpart. Located at the center of Florence with walking distance to the main train station and lots of venues and museums, the hotel is a true gem. The breakfast buffet is in an elegant setting and set with more than sufficient options. Many thanks to Alessandro and rest of the team for a well-run, customer-oriented business.

Not a fully modern property, Hotel Accademia‘s strength is its excellent staff. For our long stay, we enjoyed every interaction with staff members. In Florence, I would stay there again if they fixed the breakfast up a bit. Lacking any warm items like scrambled eggs or complements, the breakfast is largely bread and cake with side items like yogurt and fruit or nuts. Because the coffee machine did not include decaf coffee, I enjoyed hot tea. To get warm milk you had to ask for it, which the employees always delivered with a smile. The location is perfect.
