Our stay at the Americana Motor Hotel was excellent. We stayed one night with a family of 4. We had 2 queen beds on the 2nd floor. We loved the retro chic decor, taking you back to Flag of the 70s-80s. The room was small but efficient, very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The checkin staff was so friendly and they did a great job of explaining all the amenities. They treated us to a choice of free cocktail or fancy bottled water after check in. We received an Expedia VIP $10 food credit at their taco shop on the premises, Baja Del Mar, and had some delicious tacos. The hotel has a clean heated pool, green belts with firepits and yard games, overall very family friendly. Our kids loved it and we were in walking distance to some great route 66 restaurants and not far from NAU. We will definitely be staying there again next time we are in Flagstaff. We highly recommend this hotel.

This was a super cool motel. I loved the theme of it and how they turned an old motel into a modern one. Beds were comfy rooms were decent sized! Had an issue with our room upon checkin due to it being full of flies, seems like a window may have been left open or the door left open too long when they cleaned the room prior to our arrival, but the front desk quickly took care of it and changed us to another room. Great care from the motel team! I’d stay here again whenever I’m in the area!

Great place to escape the valley heat! Only one fire pit was functional during our visit but outside of that, the pool was warm, welcome drink cold, and room was clean and eclectic! Great staff!

Best bed ever but bad Wi-Fi
Absolutely cute little room with fun decor including a working disco ball, robes, nice tv, in-room coffee pot, even a little ice chest! Outside there was a great pool and fire pit area, along with outdoor concert on Friday night. Plus the most comfortable bed in a motel/hotel I’ve ever slept in! Couple of call outs - the Wi-Fi is totally unreliable and we never got it to work, and had to rely on our hotspot, which wasn’t great bc cell coverage (AT&T) was poor in the area. We talked to the front desk several times and they tried to help, but it never improved. Coffee is in the lobby each morning, but lobby doesn’t open until 8am, so if you’re looking for coffee sooner, take a chance on the room coffeemaker or there’s a Starbucks a mile away. Overall, we had a great visit and the staff were wonderful people.

It’s such a fun property to stay at. The pool is great, kept really clean with a nice area around it. The outdoor games are so fun, the staff is great. Every single person was so helpful and kind.

It was easy to access the room by parking in front of the door. Wifi was good. Staff was helpful as could be but couldn't repair the AC or the TV. Dog park was good. Pool was nice.

Form over function
It’s looks great and fun decor, but lacks functionality. The rooms are dark. The air conditioner is drafty and you hear the people walking in the room above you. cool pool and surrounding areas but no shade to have lunch or a drink midday. pool music too loud and clubby. Was expecting more of a lounge low key experience. Our Tesla Y bottomed out on the speed bump every time. Couldn’t get the charger on premise to work. Great location and fun retro theme. Dog friendly and very nice staff. Comfortable bed.

The property had a nice look of retro Route 66. The property looked to be well maintained and freshly renovated. However, we asked for help several times from the management and never received it. There were dog feces on the cornhole court. The pet area was not clean. The Wi-Fi was terrible. The TV was not working in our room. We had to fix it ourselves since no one came to repair it after we asked the handle fell off the kitchen the bathroom sink the public restrooms had no toilet paper however, when we did have a problem with our room and asked the next day since we did not get a call back that night as promised, we were given a room that satisfied

I booked here at the Americana based on the other recommendations from previous guests. It is a quaint, colorful motor lodge. It reminded me something from I Love Lucy Era. It was very clean & comfortable beds. The pillows on the other hand left a lot to be desired. Next time I’ll bring my own pillow . I liked the spaceman outside greeting me. The staff was very welcoming & helpful. We’ll be staying here on our return trip from the balloon festival.

Perfectly Funky (In a GOOD WAY!)
An adorable little hotel with the perfect amount of funky charm. Decorated to look like it is straight out of the 1960's. Super clean, and the hotel grounds were spotless with games, firepits, and hammocks! The onsite food truck, Baja Mar, was excellent! And did I mention that there was a DISCO BALL in the room? I was obsessed! Would definitely stay here again!
