Overpriced and Beat Up
Proximity and an updated lobby are about all this hotel has going for it. The rooms are not just dated as stated in many other reviews, they are trashed. Stained carpet, water damaged cabinets, moldy grout, dingged up furniture, towel racks falling off, and marks on the walls. Almost forgot, no instant coffee in the room either! For the $160/night, I expected much nicer than this.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I do feel that the rooms need a little work and it could’ve been cleaner. There was mould in the shower and every time I showered the water would leak on the floor. They also stated that they provided tea and coffee facilities in the rooms however I only received tea bags no milk, sugar or stirrers. It is in a great location though, close to everything you need.

Excellent stay except for the check in. The lady behind the counter was obviously overwhelmed, and had a hard time keeping the flow going, so we had to wait 30 mins. They needed a second customer service attendant. That said the stay overall was pleasant and all the staff were super helpful plus the breakfast was good.

Had an amazing 3days stay. Nice clean hotel with very comfortable bed and air conditioning 👌 which is much needed. The hotel is a great spot with walking distance to the marine harbour, many restaurants and shops. And just 10min walk away from the bus and train terminal which with just €2.70 you can catch bus16 to airport which takes just 25min.

Nicely renovated lobby but the rooms could use some love, care and a good cleaning. The shower had lots of black mold and the shower seal was taped back on which resulted in a lot of water outside the shower. Staff was friendly and let us switch rooms at the beginning due to AC making a clunking noise every 15 seconds when on. Wouldn’t recommend staying here for the $170 we paid for one night.

Great location, clean basic solid hotel
The hotel's tagline written everywhere is "just what you need" and that about sums it up - basic place, nothing more, nothing less. Great location by the old town. The first room was small and the A/C was very loud, I mentioned it to the concierge and he immediately gave me a new room (that was a bit bigger too which was nice). This type of quick customer-focused decision making by staff is not something you see all the time in hotels. Clean place, not new or deluxe. Wouldn't want to spend tons of time here, but perfect for a night.

Great location and The Front Desk was very nice however the elevator was broken for our entire stay not a big problem but there were large bugs in our shower, the AC did not work, no safe in the room and a coffeemaker with no coffee.

Great location, good price, exceptional staff. We stayed for two nights before flying home and the lady at the reception desk asked us how we had found the room, street noise and if she could do anything for us. We asked if we could get a coffee and she not only provided this in the breakfast area but showed us how to use the coffee machine and then made us two coffees. It's a small thing but I really meant a lot to us.

We like the location. Close to the old city, walkable to the areas of interest. The condition of the bathroom was horrible. Th shower drain was clogged. The toilet lid was without screws and moved uncomfortable when sit on it. The shower door hasn’t had the handle to be closed properly.
