Stylish but impractical.

Very friendly and stylish, good location and very quiet, nice touches such as free filter coffee. Room was on the small side with no space to put out toiletaries (nowhere even for toothbrush) and very little space for clothes. There is good quality tea and coffee provided but you have to go along the corrider for boilng water tap as no kettle is provided.

A motel with a difference - modern, well thought through and designed with flair. A Dyson hairdryer to boot!!! Friendly staff, cosy, welcoming lobby with a bar and the diner was equally so. Good food, very reasonable prices and definitely a place to recommend!!

Stayed for one night, Monday into a Tuesday. Check in was easy. Phone keypass to enter the rooms was really clever and sleek. Rooms perfect, no issues with them at all. One thing I would mention is the air con was either too hot or too cold - couldn’t quite work out a middle. But still managed to sleep perfectly. Parking is great and lots of spaces, not sure how it would be on a weekend. Only issue here, we had a plug in Hybrid car and to park in the overnight spaces it was a £15 flat fee to use. Which is way too expensive for a hybrid. Could be useful and economical for a fully electric car but not mine so instead used the fast charge spaces which were 80p per KWH so not cheap.

Interesting concept with bare minimum, but the heater should work while sleeping. Heater worked in the morning but not at night even-though we adjusted the thermostat accordingly. Consequently, we got sick the next day.

Stay was good as always, just one minor issue hence a 4. Staff and rooms was great as always, except heating was an issue. Room was really cold and thermostat either didn’t work or heating was insufficient. Covers on bed did keep me warm enough to sleep but was still cold. I will still return regardless just wanted to express my concern.

Really enjoyed our stay but probably wouldn’t stay again, room was freezing cold upon arrival and the bed wasn’t overly comfy causing both of us neck ache the following morning. Diner next door has amazing food though and the aesthetic is really lovely.
