Just returned from a great stay. The food was excellent with lots of variety — the dedicated Jamaican section was a standout. I’ve stayed at hotels across almost every Caribbean island, and this was one of the best food-wise. The entertainment team was incredible — easily the best I’ve experienced at any resort. Every show was worth seeing, and they brought great energy every night. Avia provided outstanding poolside service — friendly, attentive, and always on point with our orders. The downside was the pool restrictions. I was traveling with teenagers who are strong swimmers, yet we were either separated or forced to stay in the kids’ areas. I understand limiting small children, but teens should be allowed more access. Some staff weren’t the friendliest, but the good ones really made up for it. Overall, a great experience with room for improvement when it comes to family-friendly policies especially as it relates to teenagers. The resort is well-kept and the grounds immaculate. Housekeeping staff also did an excellent job.

I am really picky with hotels and I usually find the smallest things to complain about. However, this property met my overall expectations. The rooms were very clean, food was good, drinks were great (surprising for an all inclusive resort) and the property was always clean and well maintained. The only complaint I have (again I’m a details person) they need to clean the grout in the shower. Another amazing and necessary piece to this hotel is this the staff. This hotel has the best staff I have ever experienced and I have stayed at some of the best 5 star hotels. Each and every staff member I encountered were really friendly and helpful. Didn’t matter their position, they see you walking by or lounging around they all will ask if you’re doing ok or need anything and will ensure you get what you need or show you to someone who can. I will most definitely stay here again. Really great hotel!

RIU Aquarelle offers a fun and vibrant all-inclusive experience that made our vacation memorable in all the best ways. Entertainment: The entertainment team truly shines! From high-energy daytime activities to lively evening shows, they keep the fun going non-stop. Their enthusiasm is contagious, and they really go the extra mile to make sure guests of all ages are having a good time. Make sure you see Miquel! Food: The food was a definite highlight – fresh, varied, and delicious. The buffet offered plenty of options to satisfy any craving; however, I do wish they would get more local fresh fruit. Staff: While the hotel has a lot to offer, we did feel that some of the hotel staff could have been a bit more warm and welcoming. A friendlier around the resort would have really elevated the experience. Overall, RIU Aquarelle is a great choice if you're looking for amazing food, exciting entertainment, and a lively resort atmosphere. With a little more attention to guest service, it would easily be a five-star stay.

The property was nicely kept , the food was very good. Room service was great. Some vacationers did not manage their children well in the buffet restaurant. Most of the servers were attentive. However, on a couple of occasions we didn’t even get our water refilled without flagging someone down.

I traveled with my 14 year old daughter for spring break and everything was exceptional. This is my 5th resort stay in Jamaica and my absolute favorite for families. The food was the best I’ve experienced outside of the country. True Caribbean food and beautiful delicious exotic fruit, some I’ve never heard of. I didn’t have too many drinks because I was with my daughter, but the few I had were delicious. The customer service was phenomenal. We seen at least 4 beautiful weddings going on within 5 days. The weather was great, housekeeping came by everyday, we did mommy and me massages which was really good. The beach is large and beautiful and the pools are nice. So much to do, beautiful scenery, a lot of indoor and outdoor games, a lot of entertainment at the pool. The shows were really nice. I love the way the staff is so attentive to the adults and there little children. Security is everywhere and take there jobs seriously we felt very safe and comfortable. Great place! The food at this resort was excellent and the grounds beautifully maintained. Can be a little tough making reservations for dinner at some of the restaurants. One of the pools is adult only which is nice. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. Facilities were very clean to include the public baths at the pool. Cleaned constantly. Beach area is a little small but still plenty of room. Plenty of activities during the day. We had a blast and would go back

This Riu exceeded our expectations! Check-in was fast and very accommodating, room was very clean - daily, liquor in room and mini bar stocked, great sports bar, kept all areas clean all the time, food was OK, drinks were pretty good considering all inclusive but we also brought our own bottle. Loved the area to walk across the street and get local food and short cab ride to the Blue Lagoon for another authentic meal and great views! A lot of kids and our son LOVED the water slides. Caliber of guests were good - not noisy, loud, or inappropriately dressed like the other Riu in Montego Bay. The beach and property are well maintained. If they keep this UP, we will keep coming back 1-2 a year! Only suggestions: on-site club for adult after fun, a game room/PS4 rental/arcade for older kids, babysitting options, and newer music- Jamaican and Global Top 40 since so many ppl around the world and mostly middle aged to younger ppl.

Property was beautiful. Staff was great. Rooms were nice and clean. All bathrooms around the property were very well cleaned and maintained. Never had issues getting drinks. Pools and pool area was cleaned and mopped everyday. Entertainment staff had adults and kids involved all day and night. They did a great job. Hotel service, staff and cleanliness was 5 stars.Highlight for food was the buffet for breakfast. Fresh omelettes and eggs upon request Downsides are very limited menu options in the restaurants. Food was 3-3.5 stars.. Tons of fresh fruit. Rooms have double beds. Yes, we knew this at booking but 4 room is quite tight for 2 adults on one bed. Seems they could have fit larger beds in the space. Beach was beautiful but water has boulders not rocks. You need to wear water. Overall I would recommend the Riu.
