I’d like to thank super helpful staff at the inn first. Otherwise the location was nice for the price. If you’re not picky it’s even a nicer place to stay at. The only trouble was that it was costing us about £20 daily to get to Edinburgh, which again was still cheaper than staying in Edinburgh. It was just time consuming. Overall very nice place to stay.

Enjoyed my time here. Wish the buses would run closer than a 15 minute walk but if you are traveling with a car an excellent, inexpensive place to stay.

This hotel should be condemned

I’m not sure how this hotel can charge for the rooms they provide. I booked 5 rooms for a business trip and all of the rooms were equally as bad. Bathroom door didn’t close, rooms were barely big enough, tired and unclean. Beds uncomfortable to say the least one of the party even slept on top of the bedding in clothes as the bed was so bad. Friendly staff,place was clean and basic no frills hotel. Use of kitchen helped keep cost down too as there for work only thing didn’t like was shared a twin room with work colleague and glass door on onsuit faced in to the room so could see if they was having a s..t or taking a shower ( paid extra for it n never used ) and noisy road if window was opened .

Room was very dirty, smells very bad, mattress is little sticky, bed smells very bad too, washroom/bathrooms are not attached, in bathrooms sometimes hot water doesn’t come. Body/hair dryer doesn’t work. There is no dispenser for shower gel. There is no daily house keeping. Overall very bad experience.
