The positive was the room was very large. The negatives were the beds/mattresses were very uncomfortable, there was lots of noise from trucks driving by at all hours of the night, the walls were very thin so we heard a guy next door talking and coughing at 5 in the morning, the wallpaper was peeling, the heat lamp in the bathroom did not work and the food in the restaurant was adequate at best.

My four children and I stayed here for a weekend. We were able to be in one room that was big and spacious for us. We loved the coffee/tea bar on the second floor. Also loved all the sitting areas throughout the building. We had dinner her and the food was delicious. There was a big snow storm during our stay and the parking lot was shoveled by morning. My kids and I will definitely come back.
There were hair in the sheets which was disturbing. Shower wasnt the cleanest. The pub was very accomidating though. Overall not bad. Just not great cleanliness
We always stay at Waynebrook Inn when we visit family at Tel Hai. The inn is pet friendly and the staff is Always efficient and courteous. Its an old building with beautiful woodwork and decor, and we love the old home feel.
We have been here many times and have no complaints. We love room 406 with the jacuzzi tub. The rooms are all nicely sized and have an old vintage homey feel to them. The restaurant has excellent food and the bar does comedy shows, karaoke and bingo. We always have a good time.
This building could be beautiful if it was kept in good condition. The room was not clean, rips in furniture, furniture in room was not dusted. Shower door didn’t slide on the track, tub around door has not been cleaned. Stains on the tiles on the ceiling, mattress leaned downhill.
Pros: The staircase was beautiful, the food and service in the restaurant were both exceptional. Nice employees with everyone we met.
The place just needs a good scrubbing and updates to the furnishings and fixtures. If the things that needed updating were antiques or original to the building, I would understand, but none of the things we saw were antiques, mostly form the 80’s.
People that work there were friendly the food in the restaurant is awesome every time we go there we love to eat there the pizza is great the fish dinner is great burgers are delicious I'm a chip stay maker really good and the barbecue wings are awesome as well
We were only there one night - the room was fine but in the morning, no one was at the desk, a sign said breakfast 7-10 am but the door was locked. At 7:30 the front door was still locked. Other guests were wandering around looking for breakfast. We had factored in breakfast there - because there really isn't any other place to eat that is convenient and the lack of communication was frustrating.
I realize this property is quite an old property. However, I don’t believe it is being kept up. It is quite dusty all throughout the halls and the hotel. The front desk assistant’s answer to my “can we get a first floor room”, was “we are full and you get what you get.” She did not say it in a rude tone, however, that is not a way to respond to a customer.
