A quick stopover in route to holiday home. Did the job very well. Connecting rooms for families were wonderful. Breakfast was good, although the organisation could have been better. And please sort out some decent coffee! But other than that can’t fault.

On check-in we were informed that the lifts were not working. This meant carrying our luggage to the 7th floor! There were several people on the stairs who were clearly struggling. The View restaurant is no longer open and the food choices in the bar were very limited. Breakfast was moved to the bar downstairs so the whole area was left looking scruffy. A very disappointing stay.

Overall good stay.
Lovely hotel and helpful to have adjoining rooms as a family. It was a shame that the hotels booking system didn't have breakfast listed on their system when this was included on my booking via hotels.com, but the receptionist did resolve the matter. Only quibble with the room was that it was at the rear ofthe hotel so you could hear people coming through the entrance of the hotel as there is has hard surface/flooring so you can hear the suitcases as they pull along. Breakfast is buffet style and is very good quality.

Very nice hotel, rooms very well designed with one exception - when the aircon switches on the control panel lights up with a very bright white light, disturbing my sleep. A colleague in a different room had the same issue. Great staff and otherwise very nice hotel.
